Menopause is the cessation of a woman’s menstrual cycle. According to the National Institutes of Health, “A woman is said to have completed natural menopause when she has not had a period for 12 consecutive months”.

Typically women begin natural menopause in their early 50’s, and this phase of life can be accompanied by a multitude of various unpleasant symptoms, such as hot flashes, night sweats, vaginal dryness, depression, joint pain, and fatigue.

Fortunately, Chiropractic care has been demonstrated to help. In a 1994 study of 30 patients with menopausal symptoms, 15 received adjustments and 15 received placebo therapy. The

adjustment group experienced a significant drop in symptoms compared with control.

This is amazing! As your body is better able to heal and function as a result of chiropractic adjustments, is it any wonder that symptoms will be reduced and subside when your body can better regulate its hormone control?

Get your chiropractic evaluation scheduled today to see how you can better manage your body’s hormone regulation and resultant menopausal symptoms!
