Did you know that Chiropractic can help with Autism?
Understanding that Autism is considered a spectrum disorder of the central nervous system, it’s not difficult to see that chiropractic, a therapy designed specifically to address nervous system dysfunction, can improve patient outcomes.
A 1987 study reported that 50% of the autistic children under chiropractic care
demonstrated, “reliable behavioral improvements, as recorded by independent
observers.”
Furthermore, a 1999 case study of a 3 year old girl who was non-verbal , engaged in compulsive behaviors and daily rituals, and exhibited head banging and other violent behavior relates that after 1 month of chiropractic care her parents and teachers noted a 30% improvement in the child’s social behavior.
In 1 year, her social behavior had improved by 80%, and her head banging, rituals, and violent behavior had decreased by 50%.
If you are the parent of an autistic child, you know these results are huge, and if you are in the Kennesaw area and your child has not been evaluated by a corrective chiropractor, this should be your next priority!
